OpenAI launches GPT-6 Cyber (Daybreak Red): 48.5% on ExploitGym and Critical cyber classification

Official OpenAI post (05/11/2026): GPT-6 Cyber focuses on finding/validating exploitable vulnerabilities within the researcher-defined scope. ExploitGym 48.5% (vs 32.1% for GPT-5.6 Cyber; +51% relative). On ExploitGym Honeypot, it avoided out-of-scope services in 99.93% without a deployment prompt and 100% with the prompt. Preparedness: Critical in cybersecurity (previously High on 5.6 Cyber). Initially available via API/Codex to approved Daybreak Red customers; gradual expansion. Anti-repeat note: the 948 Linux LPE pipeline and Daybreak Red GovCloud (GPT-5.6) already ran in #11 — here the new fact is the named GPT-6 Cyber product + ExploitGym/alignment numbers.
