Heretic 2.0 lands on r/LocalLLaMA: the tool that strips censorship from models now modifies “anything”

Heretic's author (u/-p-e-w-) announced version 2.0 after almost 5 months of work. According to the post, the project has 37 thousand GitHub stars, more than 8,500 models on Hugging Face and 88 million downloads. The new version replaces directional “abliteration” with Arbitrary-Rank Ablation (ARA), is rebuilt around plugins and, besides removing refusals, promises to reduce slop and sycophancy and change models' emotional tone.
